Park Silom Receives the “Award for Architectural Excellence Worthy of Recognition” in the Commercial Building Category

Where the heritage of a place finds new expression in contemporary architecture.
Park Silom is proud to receive the royally bestowed “Award for Architectural Excellence Worthy of Recognition” in the Commercial Building category from the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage. Designed by HB Design Co., Ltd., the project reinterprets the stories and identity of Silom through contemporary architecture.

The design draws inspiration from the distinctive awning windows of the former Siwadal House. Originally designed to welcome natural light and air, these windows helped create an open, inviting atmosphere. Park Silom carries that idea forward in its building façade:

• Design heritage: The form of the awning windows is reimagined as a modern façade, creating depth through light and shadow.
• A welcoming atmosphere: The design brings in natural light while conveying a sense of welcome.
• The oxygen of Silom: Architecture and nature come together in a space intended to benefit the community and the city.

The award reflects Park Silom’s commitment to looking ahead while honoring the stories that came before. Through thoughtful, functional and sustainable design, the project seeks to create lasting value for people, the community and the city.
